Pete Sperring comes from a seaside town not too far away from London called Southend. After many years in education, he decided that university was not for him, and thus would leave it to more ‘intelligent’ types.
That was years ago. Since then, the break up of a hard rocking band, periods of unemployment, mind numbing employment, women, and bouts of manic depression have altered Pete Sperring’s outlook on life.
University was the answer. Not only would a degree make him more employable, it would be a great experience and would instill in him a work ethic by which he could achieve everything he wanted to achieve.
Creative Music Technology open day. With sounds put to film. This was the course for him. Years of gaming and watching movies and DVD extras had already filled his head with ideas. Now he would learn a means by which to extract them.
At 24 years of age, he lives periodically in Cambridge, working on his degree, new musical material, and writing a screenplay now and then.
